The role of the lymphatic system:

  • The lymphatic system supports the immune system in removing and destroying waste, debris, dead blood cells, pathogens, toxins and cancer cells.
  • The lymphatic system absorbs fat and fat-soluble vitamins from the digestive system and delivers these nutrients to the body's cells, where they are used by the cells.
  • The lymphatic system also removes excess fluid and waste from the intercellular spaces.

When the lymphatic system is not working properly, the interstitial fluid is too much, leading to an imbalance of fluid inside the tissues, making the body heavy, and possibly swelling. In lesser extent, when the lymphatic system is weak, the movement of fluids in the body is poor, resulting in more toxins present in the cell's habitat, making the cell health increasingly declining, rapidly aging, thus prone to chronic problems. Lymph nodes accumulate a lot of waste that is processed from the fluid and is not being discharged, leading to blockage of the lymphatic system in the body, affecting the body's detoxification process. This lymphatic system is so closely linked with the body's defenses that it has the feature of helping to regulate the immune system. The damaged lymphatic system not only impairs the ability to detoxify, but also has a direct effect that reduces the body's immunity and vitality.
